About Me

My journey into black and white art began as a way to cope with profound change. Moving away from a home rich in art and music to an unfamiliar place left me overwhelmed and searching for a sense of connection. I turned to drawing when I found myself unable to express the mix of emotions I was feeling. Using charcoal, graphite, and ink, I discovered a quiet language to release feelings that were too heavy to speak.

In my practice, abstraction allows me to confront complex emotions while keeping a protective distance. Art becomes a space where I can let go of what’s inside without revealing everything. I work on large scales, covering the walls with paper and pouring out whatever I feel. When I’m done, I tear it down—a simple act of release and detachment.

For me, art is a way to make sense of my reality, to quiet the restless thoughts, and to express myself when words fall short. My drawings reflect not specific stories but the raw and universal need to connect, let go, and find peace.
